Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The course was actually pretty interesting. At first I didn't think that I would like it but once we got into the content, I realized that I enjoyed learning about society. Dr. Larkin also made it fun which was a plus.

    Course highlights:

I gained some new knowledge about different aspects of society like why certain things are the way they are in a specific society. Also, the class discussions and activities really helped.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

You have to have an open mind when taking this course. Also, stay on top of the homework. Don't be afraid to ask for help. Don't be afraid to participate in the class discussions and activities either.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this Sociology class because it provides a historical and governmental background as it relates to nations, countries, foriegn market, conditions and systems of government leading all the way up to the present.

    Course highlights:

I was able to gain a bettrr sense of democracy within a Republican form of goverment. I learned about different philosophies as it related to governmental systems such as communism, socialism, and capitalism. I learned about the foreign market and how many counties that were communist are npw adopting a capitalistic approach (such as China). I learned how companies are moving overseas to stay competitive and gain higher profits by capitalizing off cheap labor.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

It would be to a students advantage to read the textbook and the extra readings because they are where the most information is on the weekly topics.
