    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would not recommend this class for beginners in biology. The professor has a thick accent and talks really fast. It is a great course by itself but it can be difficult to get used to at first

    Course highlights:

This course is a more in depth version of your biology class you had in high school.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Definitely study your heart out. There are a lot of tests and quizzes and you need to know the material very well.

    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend Kremer if you want a challenging course that you really grasp the concepts of biology. If you are looking for an A, this is definitely not the easy A professor. Kremer does not teach lecture, rather goes into in depth examples of the material with you in class. This was a great style of learning for me, but if you don't like reading the textbook, you will most certainly be lost during class.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were the level of depth I gained from biology compared to my high school courses. I learned how each step intertwines and relates to one another as well as understanding why the world is the way it is.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the book. Read the book. Read the book. There are also online quizzes that help retain the material like those on quizlet. If you are taking the course with Kremer, she truly doesn't lecture for longer than 10 minutes and then she gives you projects to develop a deeper understanding, but if you don't know the basics, the deeper level is that much harder.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It was a very hard course. You received a lot of information in not enough time. It was a course you definitly have to spend time on. You cant just fake your way through it.

    Course highlights:

I learned some interesting topics. We basically went over information that I had learned but forgotten in high school. We learned about chemistry in the course to tie chemistry and biology together.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Study the flashcards off of Easy note cards. For each chapter there is about 30-100 cards but it is worth your while to study them.
