Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The teacher moves at an acceptable pace that allows room for questions, but also covers a great amount of material. The PowerPoints, working through practice problems, and the textbook were very helpful in the understanding of Financial Accounting, and sets up a foundation for future accounting classes.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about Financial Statements, and the importance of accounting for businesses and external reporting of information. The highlights were definitely learning how to format these important documents and being able to understand Assets, Liabilities, and Equity in a broader sense.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Participate in class, take notes, work in groups to ask for help as well as teach and learn at the same time. Also, make note sheets for tests as a form of studying.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Financial Accounting is good class to take if you are interested in business, getting your CPA, being a future accountant. I previous worked in a small business and now I understand what assets, liabilities and equity relate to a business.

    Course highlights:

In accounting you will learn about financial accounting how it relates to business. A student will learn about assets, liabilities and equity. They will also learn accounts receivable, accounts payable, long-term assets and short-term assets.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

My recommendations for this course is to delegate your time and work on assignments early. Don't be afraid to ask questions and get tutoring if you are struggling.
