Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It was nice to get the hands on work with a group and understand more about using a microscope.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course would have to be the group presentations done because it allowed each of us to grow as a team and meet new people.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

A tip that should run through the new student's mind is the amount of time they should put towards their lab papers. It might not be thought of as a huge factor in the beginning but overall it actually is and could affect their grade.

The highlights of this course would be working with different DNA samples. I learned a lot about the way our bodies work.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you take a lot of time on the lab reports because they are a big part of your grade.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Starting off in the class as a new incoming freshman to the new world of college life, in this class I was the most academically involved in. Once you get to know the teacher and not miss any class, you begin to interact more in the class and the teacher will be there for you when you need help. If you are actually trying in that class, the professor will see that.

    Course highlights:

The major highlight of this course were the many hands-on activities that we did. During the whole semester we mainly did experiments and handled chemicals that I haven't in high school. I love doing hands-on activities because I would rather be doing experiments than doing worksheets for the entire class period. Even though this class for me ran from 12:30-3pm, that length was entirely for the experiments. Throughout this semester it was challenging but also entertaining; rarely ever got bored.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Actually do the homework that you are required to do because if you don't, your grade will go down tremendously. Once you notice your grade dropping from not doing the assignments, it will be hard to get them back up. That was what I was noticing with my grade in that class because I didn't finish my lab report and didn't turn it in and those reports impact your grade a lot. If you ask for his help he will not hesitate to help you. Great teacher for this class.
