Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It is fairly easy if you take notes of the lectures, and the notes do not have to be very in depth. The mid-term and final are extremely easy if you do the review guide she gives before. The teacher is nice and helpful.

    Course highlights:

Biology 1 is pretty much the basis for all the next biology courses. Whatever you learn in BIO 1 comes up again in higher level courses.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Take notes. Pay attention to the homework assignments because they will build up and all the information in them is in the final and mid-term exams.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Zen is the best teacher I have encountered so far at UTRGV, he makes his class fun and exciting. He does not appreciate loud behavior and makes sure to let the students be aware of this, this in turn helps the other students be surrounded by a calm and tranquil setting for learning to take place.

    Course highlights:

I have learned the main elements that biologists deal with and various bonds that occur in and out of nature.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Go to lecture everyday it is scheduled for you, buy your clicker AS SOON AS POSSIBLE, and do not sleep in class.
