Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This curse truly helped me become a better reader and writer. I feel it also helped me gain a better understanding of how a writing class in college might be.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of the class were defiantly how fast we transitioned into new pieces of literature and how fast we moved into assignments.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

My advice that I would give is stay on top of assignments. One cannot succeed without keeping a track of all their homework.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this class because it teaches students to successfully write educated essays, debate topics, and back up assertions with properly cited evidence. This class has tought me personally how to successfully locate a credible source, cite it, and extract key evidence that supports my assertion. This class also taught me how to write essays in proper format, such as MLA Format. I can properly explain my argument to answer a prompt, support it with evidence, and properly elaborate on how the evidence supports my argument.

    Course highlights:

Major highlights from this course include writing a personal statement, as well as a research paper. The personal statement was actually relevant and helped me when searching and applying for colleges. Most colleges will require a personal statement along with an application. Prior to this class, I had no knowledge on how to properly write a personal statement. This class has truly made an impact on my writing style. Not only does one get to create a personal statement, one also gets to create a research paper. This paper can be on any topic the writer desires. This paper helped me realize that an argument is much more complex than one may realize. Clearly explaining your argument takes a lot of work, including finding credible evidence to support your argument, and a clear elaboration that explains your evidence.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Follow the due dates. In this class, papers are submitted through a series of steps. For example, one week an outline and a thesis will be due. The next, a rough draft will be due, along with an annotated bibliography. These due dates help the writer smoothly create his/her masterpiece in an orderly and timely fashion instead of trying to create an entire paper from scratch in the matter of a week.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course because it's taught me a lot about myself. Starting off in the beginning of the school year I wasn't that confident in my ability to write. By taking this course I learned so much useful information as well as good writing techniques. The class is awesome and helps a lot to create a well constructed, confident writer as well as student.

    Course highlights:

The highlights from this course include the various papers we got to write. This class enables us to to search the World Wide Web and express our ideas in writing about some of the most amazing things happening all around us. I learned so much about the importance of writes as well as how I needed to improve as a writer and prepare myself for further educational years.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

To succeed you need to put forth a lot of effort as well as try your hardest on all class work. Majority of your grade will come from huge projects so make sure you take your time and put forth lots of effort to achieve some of your greatest work.
