    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I hated the class, it was a requirement which means I didn't decide to take it.

    Course highlights:

didn't learn a lot, it was waste of time. if it was up to. me I wouldn't even take this class.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I learned a lot from this course and the teacher was not such a tough grader. I believe as long as you demonstrated knowledge of the assignment you could get an A.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about health policies and politics with insurances and how it affected our healthcare delivery system.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Meet your deadlines. Read a few pages everyday and all reading is not required, so basically read enough to answer the question, most of the time the book alone was a sufficient tool. Do your portfolio project little by little as you go along because as you get busier the harder it will be to complete it. Use online resources and get a study buddy that can encourage you and that you can get feedback from on papers.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Great background on U.S. healthcare reform, provides perspective for future courses.

    Course highlights:

This course is heavy on how healthcare applies to hospitals, but falls short on the non-profit sector of healthcare. Regardless of this, it's a useful course and should provide a solid introduction to how healthcare is structured in the U.S.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

There's a lot of writing. Make time for it.
