    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I recommend it because it is a requirement for many majors. And while this was definitely a difficult class, it did teach the foundations of chemistry as well as how to properly time manage.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of the course was the course material. It was very interesting and explained many of the natural occurrences in the world.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

I would advise working on the practice problems in the back of each chapter every day. Start studying early, be on top of notes and homework. The more effort you put into the class the more you will get out of it.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The chemistry department clearly does not know how to create a functional learning agenda. In my experience, the teachers were incompetent and uncaring. The course material taught in class was not taught in the labs or on the exams.

    Course highlights:

This course will be a delete/repeat course for you, in which even the advisors recommend that you take it early enough in advance to be able to take it again.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

I would say to take CHEM 101 instead or be ready to designate quite a bit of time/energy/money into CHEM 111
