    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course is an introduction to the Allied Health profession. It is very fast-paced and difficult, covering 20 (+) chapters in four weeks. If you are dedicated, focused and determined to succeed then this is the right place for you.

    Course highlights:

The instruction was varied. Meaning, we covered the different body systems, interoffice communication, natural and manmade emergency plans, CPR, the workings of a laboratory, and a half dozen more topics.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Make an outline of key topics for each chapter. Write all assignments out on a task list, including describing the requirements and due dates. Color-code these assignments and give one specific highlighter color to underline what has been completed. This way, a quick glance at the list will tell you what you have completed and what else needs to be finished.
