    Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

    It was a pretty standard writing class! It was pretty average.

    Course highlights:

    I gained some skills on how to be more outspoken in my class- the professor would ask us questions and stand awkwardly at the front of the room until someone answered. It was kinda cringe worthy and I felt bad for him having such an unresponsive class that often times it would just be me and him discussing things.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

    Be ready for a group research project at the end- as well as a paper every week or so.

    Course Overview:

    I love this class. Dr. Barton is funny and makes the class interesting.

    Course highlights:

    You learn a lot about the grammar used in writing. If you don't know how to write papers properly, you will learn how to in this course.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

    Take this class. It counts as a goal area that you need to cover, and overall it is a pretty easy class compared to other classes.

    Course Overview:

    I personally love this class. Professor Barton is really funny and makes the class interesting. The class load is very manageable as long as you keep up on the little assignments that he assigns.

    Course highlights:

    You learn a lot about how to write papers. Dr. Barton does a good job on relating to students and allowing them to find what they like and dislike about English.
