    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This course is incredibly interesting. As an intro course, you are able to learn the material without becoming inundated from a massive workload. The professor explains everything in a way that is very easy to understand, but is still informative. She has a great understanding of all the material.

    Course highlights:

As someone who has always been interested in the solar system and universe, almost everything that you learn about will take your breath away. One thing that I took away from the first unit was: "We are made of star stuff." Essentially, we may feel very small and insignificant, but the same materials that make up the Earth and Sun and all of the stars make us, too. We are one with space.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Essentially, there are 3-4 units for the entire semester, and within those units, all of your work is due by the exam date. So, you have four weeks to complete all that she assigns from the beginning of the unit. She gives quiz passwords in class, so it would be beneficial to show up, even if you sit in the back and work on assignments for other classes, because you will then have what you need to take the quiz later in the unit.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This was an extremely fun class - if you enjoy the solar system and the stars. I took it with my twin sister and we both really enjoyed it, got an 'A', and learned a ton! The teacher was always willing to help and she explained everything in a way that every student was able to understand.

    Course highlights:

I learned all about the galaxy, the stars, and constellations, the moon and other planets.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Use Quizlet to help study for tests and quizes. Take notes throughout lectures and lab and study them before the exams.
