    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

The professor was so understanding and answered any questions, the material was broken down in a way that was easy to follow, and the tests were straight forward with the study guide so if one was prepared in that they were in lecture, asked questions, did the available worksheets, and completed the study guide there is no understandable reason they couldn't have gotten a good grade.

    Course highlights:

General atomic structure of what they consist of, how to identify separate elements, how to use the peiodic table. Many terms were learned from the definition of matter to what London forces are which attract all elelments. You learn how to name compounds and the differences of a mixure and compound. General math was needed for formulas involved in dilution and the change of temperature.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Be involved in lecture, don't be afraid to ask questions when needed, do any available worksheets and if there are any wrong look at the answer when they are posed after the grades are in to compare and complete the study guide.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Teaches great study habits, makes you work hard, and you learn a lot of material!

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course was getting a 100% on one of my exams. The feeling of all the hard work paying off was such an amazing feeling. I feel everyone should have a chance at feeling this and this class will make you work for what you want. I learned great study habits in this class, but I also learned a lot of concepts like stoichiometry, gas laws, and thermodynamics.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure that you stay ahead. The teacher will give you MindTap (online homework) and make sure you do this and stay ahead with it because it may creep up on you. Dr. Sivaprakasam will always be there for you, especially if you show you work hard.

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Although the professor is very knowledgeable about Chemistry, this is an introductory course and most students do not fully understand the concepts the professor throws out.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about basic chemistry, how to use basic equipment in lab, etc.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Try to sit in the front and listen carefully, as the professor has a heavy accent.
