Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it was a great introduction to psychology. The lectures were very informational and Professor Petok included fun activities such as clicker polls, small experiments, and short videos to help teach the concepts.

    Course highlights:

I gained a great amount of knowledge about the basic topics of psychology. Some of the topics included were the history of psychology, personality, social psychology, emotion, development and brain anatomy. The highlights of this course were the lectures. The professors lectures were packed with information and videos that made harder material easier to understand.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to read the book. The lectures are based off of the assigned readings and it makes the lectures more engaging and easier to understand.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course had a lot of fundamental information on psychology. It was balanced between learning in lectures as well as actually using the text book required for the class.

    Course highlights:

I enjoyed a final project in this class of being able to go to an elementary school and teach a chapter from our text book to a class. There were some common psychology terms and lessons that I had already known about, there were more lessons on basic psychology that I had not know prior.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

My advice would be to keep up with the work, it is always easy to fall behind and then work much harder trying to get back to the regular pace. Balancing out your studying will allow you to learn the most you can from this class.
