    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Although the topic of environmentalism is presented in an interesting way, the professor is not engaging. Often times, she was not as available as many other professors and was slow to give not productive feedback.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about environmentalism and the impact of our daily habits on the environment. We also discussed ways to improve our impact on the planet.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be sure to be vocal and let her know your needs. She really enjoyed students who talked a lot and reached out to her for a lot of support. Interesting material!

    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course was amazing. The topics discussed in the course are very interesting and relate to everyone's life. The topics all related to materialism, and it is surprising how almost anything could be related in some way with materialism and materialistic culture. This course makes you reevaluate your life and why you have the material items you do.

    Course highlights:

A huge highlight was writing and reading other people's papers about why certain objects are important to them. The class discussions were another highlight of the class. Through this course I learned how to find my voice in my writing and learned grammar that is often not taught in high school.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the readings and don't be afraid to contribute to the class discussions-- even if you think your idea doesn't relate to the topic being discussed.
