    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The professor did not speak very good English and was very difficult to understand. He did not give out notes or practice problems which also made it very difficult.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to teach the material to myself and to find resources myself online. This course had a very rigorous courseload and was very challenging.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

I would recommend printing off study materials from online sources and not getting behind in the class. If you miss one topic, you have missed the three that come after that one. With that said, attendance is very crucial and directly correlated to your success in the class.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class because it is seemingly required for most students regardless of major. It's a math class and while you may not use anything from it in your intended career, it never hurts to know some more math.

    Course highlights:

I learned about many different parts of precalculus, including the unit circle, logarithms, Pythagorean identities and so on. Some of what we discussed I already knew from high school, but that only helped me in class, since I am not always a math-minded person. The highlight of this particular class was that there were only 4 sections that we covered, and the only grades involved were one homework set and one test per section; however, this can be a problem if you do poorly.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to study your notes, read your book, and complete your homework until you can do problems in your sleep! Some teachers will use problems from your lectures or your homework on the test in an effort to make it more familiar for you, but not always. With that in mind, you need to be positive that you can handle any variety of problem given to you.

    | Would recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This was by far the most entertaining professor I have ever had! Very upbeat personality, but if you don't like sarcasm and jokes, then you probably wouldn't like him. He checks homework every class period, but also gives you guides for every class period.

    Course highlights:

I loved having a guide for every class. Being able to fill in blanks and not write down everything made math a little less terrible. I also liked getting to choose what homework we got to do.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Come to every class, and get to know him. Print out all of the outlines and just keep in the binder or folder that you will use because if not, the one day you forget to print it out, will be terrible
