    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Although this class is difficult, it is amazing to learn how our complicated world works in a physics mindset. From labs to projects, this class is both hands on and supplemental. You have the opportunity to work in groups for big projects and to collaborate ideas with fellow classmates. Some require you to work by yourself, but the teacher was always there to help.

    Course highlights:

I learned so many things about why things happen the way the do. For example, how gravity affects everything on earth and how electricity works through circuits. We had very interactive labs that allowed us to experience realistic applications of the things we learned on a day to day basis. Projects allowed us to test our physics knowledge usually by building contraptions like cars or catapults, always with some competition to make them more fun.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

My advice to someone taking this course would be to always pay attention to class. Almost everything you do in there directly relates to how the world works around you and it is always very interesting. Although at times it can be boring, push through to see what this topic really has to offer. Obviously, always do what is asked whether on homework or labs, so you can be prepared when it comes time to test. Additionally, always go get help when you do not understand something. Teachers are there to help you and you need to take advantage of that so you don't fall behind.
