Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Professor Johnson actually enjoys what he's teaching, which makes class a better environment. He gives a lot of background information on what we're learning and goes in depth on how to properly do the problems. You do homework in a word document and then submit it online on Blackboard every couple weeks.

    Course highlights:

I liked the fact that this course wasn't just statistical probability and that we use a lot of Minitab (which is like Excel, but more user friendly and can do statistical problems for you).

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the homework, it's easy points and it's a good portion of your grade. Spend time on it though, because he does grade it based on correctness and not just completion. Also, pay attention in class, because the topics can be pretty confusing if you don't listen to how to do it.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it because the class is challenging and the Professor is super nice. Also, you are allowed to use a page of notes on all the tests and the final, which is really helpful.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course was learning a new way to think. It's interesting to look at the world with a new perspective of math, at least I believe so. This course challenges you all through the semester and the Professor uses real-life examples to help understand the material better and how to apply Statistics in the real-world, which is amazing. I learned a lot about inferential and descriptive statistics, probability-everyone's favorite and hypothesis tests.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

If you want to pass this class with an A or B, you must do the homework, which is really not that bad and there is not a lot of it. Also, you have to pay attention in class; it is easy to fall asleep or be on your phone. But, the Professor will sometimes give you hints and tips on how to do a problem easily and what could be on the test or final. And going to the Professor during his office hours is also another way to stay on track and to understand the material better.
