Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The professor was clearly passionate about the topics he was lecturing about. He allows every student to have an opinion without letting his own get in the way. I felt as though I walked away from this introductory course with a lot of knowledge for further sociology classes.

    Course highlights:

I gained the basic knowledge of sociology and how it affects and has affected our current society.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Readings assigned in this course are a must. Follow his study guides and you will do well on exams. Class participation is graded so be attentive as well as speak up on things you have an opinion about.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it gives a lot of insight on how society functions and what we do and don't see about our society. I learned about the norms and stereotypes of our society that I have never learned before.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were the activities, movies, and the professor. We did all sorts of fun activities that showed us how society treats people. We also watched great movies and short films that were great. Lastly, the professor was awesome. Professor Caldie taught this class in such a unique way that made learning fun and easy.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the material. We had four books and there was always information from the books on the test. Also, read the material before the night before class. This class for me was once a week and it was nearly impossible to read all the material the night before the class.
