Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I loved this course! It was very interesting and the professor was very good. He explained everything very well and was always available if you needed help on something.

    Course highlights:

He played a lot of videos that would give us real world examples. Those helped a lot when you were trying to understand a theory or concept.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to read all of his lecture slides. Sometimes he wouldn't get through them and he would still put them on the test. Also, make flashcards, either on quizlet or another form of online help. They help a lot because there are a lot of terms and concepts/theories you need to know.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This course has given me a general overview of the field of psychology and inspired me to major in neuroscience. The professor is very engaging and relates the material to your life in order to make sure that we really understand it.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of the course was learning the foundation for my neuroscience major. This class is relatable to many different fields of study and has helped me better my own life. Learning about the importance of sleep as a college student was very beneficial as many college students (including myself) become dependent upon caffeine to make it through the day. This class helped form better sleeping habits which really helped me to succeed in college.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would recommend staying current with the readings. There are readings to be done for every class and can help understand the lecture. The professor will not always touch upon all the material in the reading, so it is very useful to read them.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Scott mad the materials very interesting and fun to learn about. She cares so much about the topics and has so much passion in her teaching styles that the classroom environment is one that I wanted to learn in.

    Course highlights:

One of my favorite topics was about the different parts of the brains and their functions. People who are missing parts and their brain is a deeper topic i enjoyed. The brain changes in order to perform the jobs for the missing parts of a persons brain.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

I am not a student that just likes to sit and read a textbook for hours on end but, thats what this course is. The material is very interesting to read and I would catch myself spending a lot of time reading extra material to find out more about what I was learning.
