Not too easy. Not too difficult.

Mr. Chester-Wilson is a phenomenally teacher. His tests and quizzes are not that hard if one does the reading needed for the class.

    Course highlights:

Mr. Chester-Wilson is the highlight of the class. Mr. Chester-Wilson taught me a lot about genetics and ecology.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the daily reading and taking notes would make this course easier than it seems.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I highly recommend this course to anyone considering going into the field of biological sciences. This course is very interesting because it goes into how cells work and how evolution has shaped out world today.

    Course highlights:

I personally loved the genetics section because this is the central dogma of all biology. All living things come from their genetics and many living organisms share many of the same genes. Another highlight of this course was this section on Hardy-Weinberg genetics. This put math and genetics together, which scares most people, but I really enjoyed it.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

In order to get a good grade in this class you must keep up with the readings in the textbook and the application readings give to you in class. Another thing you must do is keep up with the online homework, not only because it is part of your grade, but because it helps you comprehend the entire class. If you can take AP Biology before you take this class, do it. AP Biology helped me an immense amount and really put me ahead in the class.
