Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I took this course through the college in the schools program in my high school. It was a very informative course. I learned a lot, especially about bettering my writing.

    Course highlights:

My writing became much more smooth. Sentences flowed and became much more vivid. I learned to describe with words without actually telling the reader what it was that I was describing.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Get the papers done efficiently. Nothing is worse that procrastinating on a paper and then realizing you still have the whole thing to write the night before it is due.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

To this teacher, college writing, is not a class. It is about the power of words and how you can use them to do just about anything in life. This class changed the way I looked at a lot of college courses. We are the ones choosing to learn, so let's be open to our teachers.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about researching using our online library data bases at school! I also learned a lot about citing my sources which is extremely important.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Remember what your passions are and really use them during this course. The professor encourages it!

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it really challenges you to work on many different aspects of writing. The whole focus of this course was to pick one topic then write many different pieces of writing on that same topic, which made you able to both learn more about the specific topic and also different writing techniques.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to really expand on my writing in this course. Having to write about the same topic the whole semester challenged me to dig deeper into my research and find new aspects of my topic for each different piece of writing I did. The highlight of this course was the ending paper where we were able to actually say what our opinions were on this topic we had learned about the whole semester.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

You really need to spend outside time researching your topic if you want to excel in this course. Even finding one or two new pieces of information for each paper can really enhance the way your paper sounds.
