    Course Overview:

    General Biology II is an interesting course that focuses deeply on the different functions of organisms. The materials you learn in this course relate to a lot do things you do in real life.

    Course highlights:

    The difference structures and functions of the respiratory and circulatory systems in different types of organisms such as mammals, insects, and invertebrates.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

    Rather than looking at notes and regurgitating data based on memory, actually read the book to get a better idea of the concept. Anything thing that's course related is fair game on the exams.

    The class is easy and interesting, and Paul Bates is a wonderful professor. He was very helpful in his office hours.

    I learned about animal and plant biology.

    He picks TAs that are very helpful and Bates has available office hours to help.

    Course highlights:

    An overview of plants and animals. I learned basic genetics, animal and plant cells, and circulatory and nervous system.

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

    Go to class. It is a big class and easy to miss them because the professor won't notice.
