    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it if you have to take it for your major because Dr. Zhdankin explains everything thoroughly, is very thoughtful, and gives everyone the same chance to succeed in his class by giving practice problems and practice assignments. Although the one downside is there is no homework to buffer your grade if it is low from the exams.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of the course is the professor and the ways that he gives for people to succeed in such a hard subject. He gives everyone practice problems, even if chemistry is not your strong suit, you have the chance to make it your strong suit.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Since this is a sophomore level class, I would recommend having taken general chemistry and not taking this is if you do not have to. Any chemistry class is if you don't have to take it don't.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

During the class you would have to be involved in discussions and also take quizzes plus the exams.

    Course highlights:

During that class, pretty much you learn about organic compounds and will deal with a lot of chemical formulas. You would also need to understand how chemical equations work and how to balance them. Some will be concepts from physics as well.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

As long as you review for this class every day and look at previous notes you will be fine. Self-quizzing is another way to succeed in this class.
