    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It was challenging in all the right ways. The teachers and library staff were extremely helpful. They want the students to succeed. It provided new information and writing techniques, it was more than just a review of classic writing skills. It helped me grow as a student.

    Course highlights:

We got to do an ethnography paper. We got to actually go out of the classroom and study a small culture, some people picked tattoo artists and some picked military groups as their micro culture. We got to interview them and observe a few times, it was really fun!

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the homework before it is due, towards the end, all of the papers and assignments add up. This lead a lot of kids in the class to pull a few all-nighters. Just don't procrastinate and ask questions.
