    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The learning environment was extremely comfortable, and Professor Johnson communicates the syllabus effectively to her students, and she makes the literature interesting to learn about.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course would definitely be the different periods of time in which certain genres of American literature prospered. For Example, when covering the topic of Southern Gothic Literature with the reading of the play, "A Streetcar Named Desire", I was given a glimpse into the reality of the times while also witnessing a new style of writing I had never seen before.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

You have to come to class if you want to pass. Taking notes is crucial to the course unless you have a phenomenal memory. As long as you remain interested in the topics (which she makes it very interesting), then it won't go in one ear and out the other. If you remain dedicated to the class, you will have a great time.
