    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I think that if you are an accounting major you need to take Dr. Collum. She is a great professor and genuinely cares about your learning. Her class is tough and you will have to work really hard for your grade, but by making you put effort you learn more. I still really enjoyed this class, the way she teaches is easy to understand, but you do have to take a significant amount of time to study and fully understand the topics.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot in this class. We reviewed principal topics at the beginning but went into great detail. We focused a lot on the balance sheet, income statement, statement of cash flows, and other financial statements.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

In the group project, the SUA, you have to go see her during office hours at least once a week. My group would meet about twice a week to work on the project and I would go get everything checked. You have to start it at the very beginning or you will not finish. You will get the hang out it, but it is time consuming.
