Study the IPA!!! It gets tricky.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I really enjoyed the class! It's required for all CSD majors, but I took a lot out of it and really loved learning the material. You learn how to read and write using IPA, and how to analyze speech disorders using what you've learned.

    Course highlights:

You learn how to read and write using IPA, how speech sounds are made, and how to classify them. After learning the basics of phonology, you take that information and use it to analyze speech disorders. Its very interesting!

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the homework, and pay attention in class. As long as you show up and pay attention, the tests are an absolute breeze. There are only three, but I aced every one.
