    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Its a very intense course and you need to dedicate your time to it. I don't recommend taking more the one more course wile taking A&P. Be prepared for class read the chapter you are going to discuss in class and be organized not just with papers but with your own thoughts so you wont stress yourself out like i did.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course is that you learn something meaningful you learn about your body and how it works. You learn things like the medical terms of the bones, mucles, the brain, also how the brain makes connections to the rest of your body and much more

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared to get for a full work load. Be organized and be prepared by reading what your going to review what the professor is going to cover the next day in class. Also have a support system to vent to so your anxiety does not get to you like it did for me your health is more import and so get lots of sleep.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I loved this course! No, it was not easy, but it was one of the most important courses that I have taken. The class and the lab portion of it were extremely informative, the lecture portion of the course focused on what different body systems are composed of, and the lab portion consisted of how each body system works together to maintain homeostasis in the body.

    Course highlights:

Again, I loved all of this course. It is hard to choose just one chapter over the next. I can think of something interesting that I learned about each body system. For example, I found it particularly interesting to learn about how the nervous system works. I never knew that there was two halfs to the nervous system, the parasympathetic nervous system and the sympathetic nervous system, dependent on which type of reaction that you have.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

The best advice I could give to a student that is considering taking this course is to manage your time wisely and take every grade as serious as a final! Managing your time wisely is a key to success. When studying, or doing homework it is important to break it apart a large chapter that you may be studying into two different days. Attempting to learn half of a chapter in a shorter period of time is easier than cramming and entire large section in at once. I also found it important to take every grade serious. The big takeaway is that everything adds up. Any quizzes, or homework assignments may not be weighted as much so sometimes we don't see them as being as important. Well, that is not true. Small weighted grades can make or break your grade. So it is important to put your all into every single assignment.
