    | Would highly recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Its a great course that gets you learning about the skills to be able to properly run a therapy group.

    Course highlights:

When learning how to run a therapy group, you also need to have knowledge of the different types of disorders patients can potentially have. I learned about several different disorders in this class which was really insightful and I also got to write a paper and learn more in depth about Schizoaffective Disorder and how to affects our country's population. (Only 0.3%)

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Have an open mind and be yourself. In order to run a successful therapy group, you need to be able to get along with all your patients and make sure they at least somewhat enjoying themselves while doing activities with other patients in their group. Be positive, be supportive, and encourage those who you are trying to rehabilitate back to a healthier state of mind.
