    Course Overview:

    This course is an excellent course for healthcare students in informatics. It teaches students how to conduct evidenced based research in the field of health sciences and other disciplines.

    Course highlights:

    The highlights of this course is research methodologies. It walks students through different research approach and the steps required in order to conduct a valid sufficient research that can be analyzed critically. It covered literature reviews for references, keywords search methods, boolean operators and type of databases to search for articles.

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

    To pay attention to the instructor's guidance and follow through on all assigned application home work and discussions.

    This course gives a step by step for submitting a medical research study. The text is great and my professor is very knowledgeable.

    Course highlights:

    The highlights of this course is learning different research methods for different subjects. I am learning how to put together a research proposal.

    Do the readings and look to your classmates who may have more experience in the medical field to give you pointers. Always ask questions.
