    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It is great background and preparation for going into a program that requires more in-depth research or critical thinking.

    Course highlights:

It was a great review of personal beliefs, how to apply them as a scholar-practitioner, and good at strengthening critical thinking skills.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Be sure to complete the reading and save enough time for thoughtful writing in Discussion and for your Assignments. Also, be sure you are using the resources available to you for writing and research - your final project is heavy with both pieces and using them is tremendously beneficial.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This was a very well rounded course and Dr. Stallo kept it very interesting and he was a fair instructor.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about policy within communities and non-profits that I didn't know prior to this course. I also learned a lot about First Responders and their part within the communities.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Just make sure you keep on top of the reading and the writing assignments. The team assignments are also very helpful but somewhat demanding depending on the size of the group.
