    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course was very valuable, it helped to tie the advanced pathophysiology class's loose ends up. It is one thing to understand how a disease affects the body, it is another thing to understand the pharmacodynamics and pharmacodynamics involved when a medication is introduced.

    Course highlights:

The week we spent learning about anti infectives was so valuable. Learning the differences between properly diagnosing viral and bacterial infections, and then also determining a drug that the infection is sensitive to was very interesting. This is information I know that I will use when I am practicing as a nurse practitioner.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you watch the media resources they provide, it is always useful and it helps get your mind on track as to what they are looking for in the discussion that week.
