    Course Overview:

    This course gives you a thorough understanding of an individuals life-span, biologically, socially, and psychologically from young adulthood, middle adulthood, through late adulthood.

    Course highlights:

    I was saddened to discover that trauma, inequality, and discrimination can hinder our development throughout our life-span. Sadly, we should all be able to develop and thrive with the same opportunity but unfortunately, that is just not the case.

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

    Read the literature assigned, that is where your greatest understanding of the materials is achieved.

    Really allows you to understand how your environment will affect our behaviors. As social workers, it allows us to better understand our clients.

    Course highlights:

    I learn how to better understand client behavior by looking back at their close environment

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

    This class is the dynamic of human behavior and development of ones life. This course teaches you the social aspects of social work skill, how to apply those skills with community, and the populations we work with. Dr. Wilson is a wonderful profession!

    Course highlights:

    Dr. Wilson is an amazing professor. She makes you think all around the table on each and every sisutation and case you are dealing with, making critical thinking easier and faster. This class connects the community social environments and how it effects one's behaviors and lifestyle into a situational case.

    6-8 hours
