Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course is challenging and provides a more in depth look at the role of the nurse as an advocate for patients and communities. There is a lot of busy work in this class, but by the end of the course the student does learn a good amount of information and how to use it in practice.

    Course highlights:

The research project really helped me understand the process of choosing an intervention to enact for the community and all of the steps involved in making it happen. The project examines legal, budgeting requirements, and all steps involved in getting a project off the ground.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Stay ahead of the assignments. This course has three papers that get combined into one final project. These papers must be corrected after each part is submitted. All errors from the first two papers must be corrected in order to be allowed to turn in the final compilation.
