    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This professor is unbelievably strict and grades more harshly than any other professor I know. One time, she wrote "BOO!" on my paper!

    Course highlights:

I enjoyed learning more about my Hawaiian culture and also liked the chants that we learned and performed in front of the class.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you put in the time to study! Definitely not a course you can get by if you do not attend class too.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class goes beyond the textbook and into real world problems (in Hi/the pacific).

    Course highlights:

Learn the history so we can learn from it and grow from it.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Listen in class, and pay attention to assignments on laulima.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it teaches the truth of what the Hawaiians deal with and it teaches the basic info of what need to know to understand the Hawaiians.

    Course highlights:

I gained what it truly means to be a Hawaiian and not the ones that are seen on T.V, true Hawaiians don't mock cultures they respect them.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Be open minded and don't just go in with just what you think you know.
