Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I loved taking Composition 1 with Professor Casey Finch. It was highly enlightening. Writing essay papers became three times easier and faster after learning from her!

    Course highlights:

The highlights of taking comp 1 were infinite. I learned an in depth process of writing essays and they became so much easier because of that.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

My advice to any students interested in taking this course would be to make sure to set aside the time to do your work thoroughly!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Mrs. Stringer is a tough but fair teacher. She will work with you, give you feedback, and make sure you understand what you are doing.

    Course highlights:

The first couple of essays were interesting...and the material is actually interesting if you're into Edgar Allen Poe. I was able to learn how to complete essays in MLA format as well as how to cite sources.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If you are at EMCC...get Mrs. Stringer!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course was an honors course for me. It was a class once a week. I recommend it because it is a higher level English class that challenges you. It also is fun at the same time! In this class it was not just writing papers constantly. There was more than just papers. It was a fun class, and I encourage it.

    Course highlights:

I gained more writing experience and technology experience. This class made me get out of my comfort zone with my English skills. English is not just writing and it showed me that!

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If you take this honors course, realize it is an honors course. If you need to see him and get advice on papers, do so!
