    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I thoroughly enjoyed the structure of the class as well as the material. It was a very material dense class that followed the Problem Based Learning approach. This allowed for application of the material during the process of learning it.

    Course highlights:

My favorite part of the course was the Problem Based Learning structure. It allowed each of us to begin to change our mindset from students to health care professionals and allowed us to apply it to real life situations.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

In order to succeed in this class you must stay on top of the material and review continuously. Don't be afraid to ask questions and be interactive. It will test the way you learn, but you can always twist material to learn it in the best way you know how.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This is a class that will require a very large amount of outside class time. It is a difficult class in the sense that there is just a very large amount of material to be learned, but overall the class is just a memorizing class. There are some writing assignments that may require a late night before they are due, but they are not too bad. His tests are fair and you really do have to know the material, because he will do tricky multiple choice. However, if you live on notecards and practice at least an hour everyday you can achieve an A in this class. He is a wonderful professor and very inspiring.

    Course highlights:

I really enjoyed learning all of the muscles in the body. It was helpful to study for both the in-class tests and lab practicals in the lab. Memorizing muscles from a 2D picture in a book can be misleading, and the accessibility of the lab is a great toolQ

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure that this is your hardest class. I took this class with organic chemistry and cell biology (both of which also had labs) and I put the most effort toward Human Anatomy, but I didn't do as well in my other two classes. So I would advise they you try to make Human Anatomy the hardest class of your term.
