    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend the course for any student who is not electing to transfer to medical school or an allied health program. The professor was very thorough and engaging.

    Course highlights:

The lab required for the course enabled me to have a better understanding of the overall curriculum.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the chapters from the text and take notes. Refer back to the notes and answer the chapter questions. This process will help with having a better understanding of the material being covered.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend General Biology because it offers a lab that engages in the life within our environment. Learning about the tangible and non tangible things within the ecosystem are beneficial to common knowledge.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of General Biology were the labs that the students performed. I learned about the different kingdoms and species within the surrounding community. The most intriguing lab I experienced concerned human skin and the different bacteria growing. The labs performed not only interest the people engaging in it, but they also inform the experimenter of the various outcomes or specimens.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Take the time to study and understand what you are learning. The course itself is not particularly difficult, but the amount of material is impossible to be obtained thoroughly without studying and knowing it when it is needed to be applied. The course is not based on memory, but on application.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course if you have a strong suit for biology and do not mind studying.

    Course highlights:

I learned more than I even though I would about the human body and how it works. The heart was my favorite unit.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

The key is to study study and study. The course is not the easiest. but if you find it interesting and can study, you will be fine.
