Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

English Composition II is a course specifically designed to strengthen writing and grammar skills, improve research skills, and heighten your ability to write papers.

    Course highlights:

Overall, I learned how to write research papers.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would advise any student to be involved in class, ask for help when it is needed, and pay attention the professor while he/she is giving writing prompts.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

English is an easy course to take on it's own. It's definitely worth taking English Comp II over the summer because it will be out of the way for more important courses one can take for their major.

    Course highlights:

Everyone learns how to write a proper research essay, even those who think they couldn't do it. Even though it's unrealistic to do all of the 16 week work in 4 weeks, students are still kept busy in writing argumentative essays and learning how to analyze stories.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

DO. NOT. PROCRASTINATE. The course is 16 weeks of information crammed into 4 weeks, so do your homework, turn your work in on time, and you will be just fine.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I highly recommend this course. You will learn invaluable skills needed to succeed in college and in life.

    Course highlights:

I took this in high school, so it taught me valuable research skills before I arrived at my university. There were also many thought-provoking discussions that improved my analytical skills.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't procrastinate like I did. Although I managed to come out with an A, I spent many late nights writing essays because I waited until the last minute to write them. Most of the essays for this course require much more research than required for Comp 1.
