    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Mr. Baughman is a very intelligent individual. He is very genuine when teaching he cares that you are learning the material and does not make you feel dumb when you need to ask a question about the course.

    Course highlights:

The human body is an awesome thing to learn!

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not take in the summer months because you will need to know the material and summer can be quite fast it's hard to keep up some can learn really fast and some struggle with learning at a fast pace, like me. Everyone learns differently! I want to be a nurse I can't rush through a course that is vital to my career only to remember for the test the next day and forget right after because I have to cram information to get by.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Phippoff loves this subject and has the ability to convey that enthusiasm to her students. She explains things in an easy to understand way and provides a plethora of extra information and study aids on the school website. Although this is a difficult course, by taking advantage of the resources she provides, there is no reason why a student cannot ace this course.

    Course highlights:

This is a challenging course, to be sure. However, if you are looking to major in nursing, radiology, physical therapy, or anything medically related, take Dr. Phillippoff's class. She will make sure you are prepared. I was impressed to learn that, in planning the material for this class, she went to the nursing, radiology, and other pertinent schools and learned what is most advantageous for her students to learn. According to the nursing school at MGCCC, students that have survived Dr. Phillippoff's Anatomy and Physiology classes perform exceedingly well compared to students who had other professors.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

As in any course, never wait until the last minute to study. Because I also work full time, I have found that recording my notes in my own words is a wonderful and effective study tool.
