Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

She is one of the best biology teachers I have ever had and I have had a few of those. She will draw it out for you and all you have to do is listen and take notes. Like any class take detailed notes. You never know what part of the lecture will be on the test.

    Course highlights:

I gained more knowledge on sub-areas of biology such as genetics, DNA formation and structure, the cell structure and function, etc.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Most of the learning she had to offer is listening. So just listen and follow along with the PowerPoints she supplies you with on Canvas.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Riggins is a thorough and interesting teacher. She not only teaches about biology; she teaches life lessons and necessary precautions we should take when it comes to our daily lives.

    Course highlights:

I not only learned about general biology, but because Dr. Riggins cares about each of her students I briefly learned about the danger of STDs, and germs that we come in contact with daily, but don't even realize it.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Just pay attention, ask questions, and stay interested. No matter what the issue is, she'll help you understand it.

    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I felt like the course did little to prepare me for a university.

    Course highlights:

I learned that I would rather have a professor that gave a large amount of work.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Choose your professor wisely. Determine which style of teaching you prefer and get advice from fellow students.
