Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Professor Cross teaches each student at their individual level. She understands the needs of students, sometime before the student does. She offered that I should get a tutor when she saw that I was struggling with concepts, and she was very responsive with email. If I had a question she would email me back within an hour. She was very determined to not leave anyone out of a concept. She answered all of my questions in class, and even offered extended office hours. This professor has a passion for Chemistry and it shows in her teaching.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to calculate moles to grams, moles to liters, gas laws, molecules. How to read the periodic table, how to understand the chart. What the different elements are, how they interact. How to balance an equation, and how to draw a compound.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Ask questions. Professor Cross will answer any questions you have. She is extremely caring about her students. She wants you to learn, and you will succeed. The project for class is a little time consuming for research but overall is fairly easy. Labs coincide with class discussions. Do not miss a class.
