    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Mitra is willing to help outside of class and gives extra credit.

    Course highlights:

The labs are fun. You get to use tools you haven't used before, like: projectile launchers, air pressured tracks, and more. In class, we studied Newton's Laws, centripetal force and gravity, momentum, and work and energy.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

You can't go to class and expect to receive a good grade without putting effort into your work. Study, study, take a snack break, then study some more.

    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Professor Lung was not the best teacher. He did not explain the material in a way that is easily understood.

    Course highlights:

Physics I covered material on the different laws of motion.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Study and review after every class session and do not wait until the day before to cram.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend the course (General Physics I) because the professor was available to students and wants to see them succeed. However, if physics is difficult for a student, then definitely seek out all avenues of help. Speak with your professor, go to the tutoring lab on campus, use online help sites. Use all resources to ensure your success in the course.

    Course highlights:

The highlight was the power point slides. The tests pretty much followed the slides and the tests also used homework questions.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Study very hard and practice the problems that are given on the homework assignments. The problems given on the homework assignments are also on the tests so practicing them and making sure you know how to do them is VERY important. Along with understanding the general concepts of the class. Also, for some reason, the course title is not available. All the tips I have provided is for General Physics I, not II, like the incorrect title states.
