    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Eccentric instructor, but overall a solid class. Took time to ensure concepts were understood.

    Course highlights:

The labs were a lot of fun -- anything hands-on and interactive makes the lectures make more sense.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Pay attention. Take notes. Write down the formulas. And if something doesn't make sense, ASK.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The physics department as a whole at MSU is not very good, but this guy actually cares if you do. He will kill you with homework but the tests are doable. You just have to put in the work and not get discouraged.

    Course highlights:

He's a funny guy that will make you laugh. His explanations can be ambiguous at times so you have to ask him to explain any steps you don't understand.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Work on the homework. Over and over and over. Ask as many questions as you need to, he will respect you more if he knows you actually care.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Rumor has it that all engineering-based schools have bad physics courses. Whether or not this is true is obviously debatable but what matters is that any class becomes easy when you have friends fighting through it with you.

    Course highlights:

The professor of the course matters very little to the final grade. It is the people you struggle through he class with that matter! Also, it is crucial to build relationships with your professors. Even if you don't think you need the help go talk to them during their office hours. You never know what you might learn!

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Take it, but don't expect it to be easy. My professor told the class on day one that half of us would fail. By the end, it turned out that our class had the highest average out of any of his previous classes.
