    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This subject, Organic Chemistry, is difficult enough. However, Professor Pneumie understood that. Though this course was very fast paced, due to being taken during the summer, Professor Pneumie went through much of the material very fast. However, she stressed to many of us that during the regular school year (fall and spring) she is able to slow down and really explain the common topics that many of her students have problems on. She is very helpful outside of class. She is willing to meet with whoever, and whenever to discuss topics from the current chapter being discussed, as well as from previous chapters as well. A very sweet lady, willing to work with her students to see them succeed.

    Course highlights:

Lab was the highlight of this course. Much of the information in lecture that did not make sense, made a lot of sense in lab once one performed the respected experiments. DO NOT WAIT until the last minute to complete the lab reports, there are essential for your lab grade total.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

One needs to study regularly. This is not the course to wait two days before the exam to start studying. Take time out everyday, at least an hour to go over the previous material and generate questions one may have from the lecture notes taken during class.

    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend Hollis because he cares if his students learn or not.

    Course highlights:

Even though this class itself is kinda tough and he makes himself available to the students whenever you are struggling. Please don't struggle with his class and not let him know or show him that you care and he will help you out. If you don't care about your grades he want either.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Study alot. Even when some may seem easy in class still study as if you didn;t get it in class.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Professor Hollis is a really great teacher! He can be hard to understand at times because the material is complex, but he does well with answering questions and explaining. He also writes the notes in front of you so you can see exactly how a problem is worked out.

    Course highlights:

Professor Hollis posts his notes on line, but he also writes them in class so it is easy to keep up. He offers homework and most of the points are on the final so it is possible to save your grade if you do not do well at first.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Practice specific reaction problems. His tests are difficult because they are all drawing out the answer. There is no multiple choice. He grades fairly, though, so working problems similar to what he does in class will benefit you greatly.
