    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Although I pursued a career in medicine, I found this course to be relevant to many areas in life. Logic is important because it allows people to enhance the quality of the arguments they make and evaluate arguments constructed by others. I also found that the information from this class applicable to when I took the GRE to get into grad school. The information is an essential skill in many different areas, such as mathematics and law. The professor that taught this class was very good, and the literature that she used was very easy to understand. It was a fun course to take!

    Course highlights:

I gained the knowledge how to dissect an argument. This is a very important skill to have, When a person argues logically, he is more likely to convince people of the validity of his claims or get them to agree with him. Familiarity with logic means that one knows how an argument should be constructed and also what constitutes a bad construction. Thus, logic protects people from being swayed by bad arguments.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I made a lot of flashcards for this course so that I could remember the different types of fallacies. Definitely memorize all of the different fallacies because they are heavily tested on.
