    | No strong feelings either way.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

The class was okay, it was really easy but I didn't feel like I really learned anything. The professor is very scatterbrained and not exceptional at using technology. It is a class that is very lecture (without powerpoint or notes) heavy.

    Course highlights:

We began talking about the ancient Greeks and Romans before moving into common era. We talked about the rise of Christianity before moving into ancient governments and politics and how the early cities were set up, among other things.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

The class is exceptionally easy because it is a survey course. There are a few papers and the only other grades come from the midterm and final. I enjoyed the class overall but if you plan on being a history major, minor, or just love history then maybe don't take this professor.

    | Would highly recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I highly recommend taking this course because it is not too difficult and it is a good way to learn more about history

    Course highlights:

I learned about ancient civilizations all they way up to the english monarchy. The class moves quickly but the topics are broad.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to go to class everyday and read the textbook because it will help a lot

    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class is very focused on how much you study. Yes, you should study for all of your classes but this one requires a lot of your time. The tests, while they can be easy, involved 4+ essays a piece and short answer. It's very difficult to sift through all of the information to know what you actually need to study.

    Course highlights:

I did learn a lot about philosophy and Greek and Roman history that I did not know before. However, much of the course involved information that I doubt I will ever use again.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Meet with your teaching assistants! They are the ones who will be grading your work and they will the best to help you when it comes to what you need to know.
