    | Would highly recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This is an introduction to philosophy class that should be mandatory to take, at least once, by everyone searching to obtain a degree from an accredited university. Due to the fact that not many high schools even touch upon philosophical doctrine, this could be the one and only chance to experience some of the most asked questions of humankind.

    Course highlights:

One of the highlights of the course is right at the beginning when the first question of concern is that of the existence of god. This was something that I had not prepared for. That is not something that I though we would discuss on the first day of class that is. From that first day to our final class meeting everyday brought about some other philosophical argument that we all had to ponder about. It was one of the most rewarding and humiliating classes of my life.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

The course is difficult if you do not attend class. This course is also difficult if you do not do the reading for that week. This became one of the defining factors of people that succesed in this course and people who did not.

    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

There are only two grades for the entire semester. Great personality and very nice, super difficult class.

    Course highlights:

His lectures were very interesting at times. Talked more about the philosophy of politics than of philosophy in general.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would ask to record his class. Also, read the material for class before the class so you know what he is talking about.
