    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The professor is insufferably bad. This is a survey course, which you'd think would be easy, but the Dr. Barker makes this course very difficult. I am a student who goes to class everyday and I still struggled with tests and homework. Attendance is mandatory and there are consequences for missing more than three days. To put it plainly, she's mean. It's like she enjoys watching students fail. Also, there are quizzes every day.

    Course highlights:

The literature that you read really is great. You get a lot of Hemingway, Frost, Chopin, etc.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Either don't take this class or take it from a different teacher.

    Course highlights:

I learned to manage my time better since she assigned so much reading.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared and make sure you are willing to put in the time for this course.
