    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I recommend it, although it is required. It is a good base knowledge class. It's difficult without question, but this class tells whether or not a student is ready for the classwork that will be required of him or her for the rest of his or her academic career. It was interesting, but tough.

    Course highlights:

This class had so much important information that all other science classes build on. I learned how to study in this class. I learned that even the basics take time and effort to conquer. I also learned the difference between adhesion and cohesion.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

I would advise staying ahead. Make sure you read what you need to read, do your homework, and don't take anything for granted. If you get lost at any point during the class, go to your professor and ask for help. Don't wait, because you will get behind if you do.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course is difficult, but not impossible as everyone makes it out to be. It takes a lot of dedication and hard work. However, you would not be taking this course if you did not plan to attend some kind of medical school of some sort, so this is great practice for that! I believe that Lewis is the best teacher to take for this course. However, she only teaches it in the Summer.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course would be most of the same stuff you learned in your high school biology course, but it just takes each concept way deeper. The first part mainly focuses on cells. The you will get to Photosynthesis and Cellular Respiration, which is the most difficult part of the course.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

You will have to study everyday. I would highly recommend buying the study guide that goes along with the book. It was very helpful for me. You just have to break the material down until you understand it. If you stay with it and work hard, you will be fine.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It is a very good class if you are looking into the medical, pharmaceutical, dental, or nursing field. The class is very difficult and requires effort, but prepares you for future courses.

    Course highlights:

The course was very interesting and you learn a lot about microbiology that you don't travel the opportunity to learn in a high school setting or lower level college biology classes

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Record lectures, go to every class, and go to office hours and SISS sessions
